Manufacturing Product Engineer (LFAB)

Role Summary

Join the LFAB manufacturing team to drive yield, product qualification, and production support for semiconductor products at the Lehi, UT fab. The role partners with design and business units to release new products, resolve manufacturing issues, and lead continuous improvement efforts.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze yield issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing yield and product performance.
  • Support new product launches: characterize, qualify, and transition products to production.
  • Provide daily production support, including disposition of low-yield lots and process troubleshooting.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, reduce cost, and improve quality.
  • Use statistical tools and production data to inform engineering decisions and process changes.
  • Work with design teams on silicon debug, simulation, and design verification.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional product engineering teams to optimize test programs, hardware, and setups to drive yield gains.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • At least 5 years' experience in the semiconductor industry as a Product Engineer, Yield Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in yield analysis and manufacturing data interpretation.
  • Proficiency with JMP, Excel, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes (fabrication, assembly, test) and production support.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-have / preferred:

  • Analog/mixed-signal circuit design and verification experience (OP Amps, ADCs, DACs, RF).
  • Digital logic design and test knowledge (ATPG, scan chain).
  • Memory design familiarity (SRAM, Flash) and device physics background.
  • Proven track record driving results and implementing process improvements.

Education Requirements
