Manufacturing Executive
Role Summary
Manage wafer saw shift production in the Pre-Assembly Manufacturing department to meet production, quality and safety targets. The role coordinates with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Production teams to maintain yield, reduce downtime and drive continuous improvement.
Experience Level
Mid-level - typically 2–5 years of manufacturing or semiconductor experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Accountable for shift-level production execution, performance monitoring and improvement activities.
- Manage shift wafer saw production operations and staff support.
- Monitor production output, yield, equipment performance and KPIs.
- Ensure production targets, product quality and safety requirements are met.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify issues and root causes.
- Coordinate production priorities, schedules and resource allocation.
- Prepare and review production reports and KPIs for shift handover.
- Work with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Planning teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Participate in production and continuous improvement meetings and lead improvement projects.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience for effective day-to-day execution.
- 2–5 years of manufacturing or semiconductor experience, preferably with wafer saw or pre-assembly processes.
- Practical knowledge of production process control, SPC and data-driven problem solving.
- Experience with MES and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
- Experience leading or participating in improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma tools desirable).
- Good planning, organization, teamwork and operator/technician support skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
