Manager, System Test Engineering

Role Summary

Lead the Test Solutions group to develop manufacturing test solutions, automation, and diagnostic infrastructure for NVIDIA system products with a datacenter focus. Translate test requirements into scalable processes, production-ready fixtures, test equipment and diagnostic software.

Manage engineers through NPI bring-up and production support, and drive improvements in production efficiency and product quality.

Experience Level

Senior — requires 6+ years post-silicon validation experience in board or system products and 2+ years of people or technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include defining test strategies, delivering automation and guiding engineering teams toward production-ready solutions.

• Refine manufacturing test solutions into repeatable methodologies and production processes.
• Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technologies to improve production efficiency.
• Develop and qualify test fixtures, test equipment, and diagnostic software for system products.
• Build automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.
• Lead and advise a team of engineers to own a product line and manage NPI bring-up.
• Guide teams in resolving complex technical problems affecting test and production.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership qualifications:

• 6+ years post-silicon validation experience with board or system products.
• 2+ years managing or leading technical teams and projects.
• Practical familiarity with manufacturing and chip-to-system integration.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with test automation, diagnostic generation, and validation infrastructure.
• Experience specifying or qualifying test fixtures and production test equipment.
• Experience supporting datacenter products and NPI bring-up.

Education Requirements

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
