Role Summary
Lead a team of formal verification engineers within NVIDIA Networking to define and execute formal verification strategies for next-generation networking and GPU designs. Coordinate with architecture, design, and DV teams to ensure design correctness for pre-silicon deliveries.
Focus areas include verification strategy, technical leadership, team development, and delivering high-quality verification results on schedule.
Experience Level
Senior — typically requires 8+ years of industry experience and 3+ years of managerial experience in chip design or verification domains.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include managing the team and driving verification outcomes.
- Lead and grow a team of formal verification engineers focused on pre-silicon verification of complex digital designs.
- Define and drive formal verification strategies, methodologies, and flows across projects.
- Plan and own formal verification deliverables to meet quality and tapeout schedules.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Design, and DV teams to identify verification goals and close verification gaps.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, performance feedback, and career development for team members.
Requirements

- Must-have: 8+ years industry experience in formal verification, functional verification, or RTL design.
- Must-have: 3+ years managerial experience in a chip design or verification domain.
- Must-have: Deep understanding of formal verification concepts, tools, and flows.
- Must-have: Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with formal verification tools and developing formal testbenches, assertions, and coverage models.
- Nice-to-have: Proven experience recruiting, mentoring, and building collaborative engineering teams.
Education Requirements
BSc or MSc in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
