Role Summary

Manage an RF engineering team to develop SAW and BAW acoustic filter solutions (up to 6 GHz) from concept through high-volume production. Mentor engineers, partner with product, test and manufacturing teams, and improve design flows and methods to deliver high-performance RF products.

Experience Level

Management / Senior - typically requires 8+ years of relevant RF design experience.

Responsibilities

Lead technical and delivery activities for acoustic filter products; primary responsibilities include:

• Manage a team of RF engineers designing complex SAW/BAW filters for up to 6 GHz (4G/5G)
• Drive development from concept and feasibility through product definition, design, production transfer, and yield optimization
• Oversee acoustic and electromagnetic (EM) simulation and integration into RF front-end modules
• Improve design flows, methods, and cycle times
• Coordinate cross-functional work with product, test, and manufacturing teams
• Document and present technical results to stakeholders

Requirements

Essential skills and experience; equivalent practical experience considered.

• Hands-on experience designing SAW or BAW acoustic filters, including design-for-manufacturing practices
• Experience with EM simulation and standard RF design techniques, RF measurements, and characterization
• Practical experience with HFSS, AWR, ADS, or similar RF simulation/design tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to work independently and lead technical discussions

Preferred:

• Understanding of microelectronics fabrication and productionizing prototypes for high-volume manufacturing
• Technical leadership and people management experience

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with an RF design focus is specified; at least 8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of advanced education and experience is acceptable.
