Role Summary

MPS is looking for a candidate with a strong precision analog/mixed signal background who can manage and inspire a team of analog IC design engineers to develop state-of-the-art Battery Management products. This candidate will oversee analog design engineering work, help resolve technical challenges, and collaborate with various teams to ensure product requirements are met.

Experience Level

Senior; 20+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Planning and directing the work of a group of analog IC design engineers to maintain product schedules.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to product development standards.
  • Translating system-level requirements into detailed block-level operating specifications.
  • Employing strong transistor-level design skills.
  • Participating in the entire product development cycle, from product definition through release.
  • Mentoring more junior engineers.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:

  • BSEE or MSEE.
  • Solid background in precision analog/mixed signal circuit design.
  • Familiarity with low power design techniques.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team efforts.
  • Proven ability to bring products to market successfully.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirements

BSEE / MSEE required.
