The role works within a hardware and software engineering team to deliver deterministic, high-throughput data paths and integrate FPGA logic with trading software.

Responsibilities

The engineer will design, implement, verify, and optimize FPGA logic for low-latency trading systems and collaborate with software teams for integration and deployment.

  • Design and implement RTL (FPGA) logic for low-latency data-paths and market connectivity.
  • Optimize designs for timing closure, resource use, and deterministic latency.
  • Develop and run simulation and verification workflows to validate functionality and performance.
  • Integrate FPGA components with C++ trading software and system-level infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues in test and production environments.
  • Document designs, test plans, and performance characteristics; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
