Role Summary
This position as a Lead Verification Engineer focuses on data center networking solutions that facilitate AI training and inference. The role involves leading verification efforts for high-performance networking designs and collaborating with various teams to drive thorough verification methodologies and execution.
Experience Level
Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in IP, SoC, or ASIC verification, showcasing strong analytical and communication skills relevant to the field.
Responsibilities
The Lead Verification Engineer will be responsible for:
- Driving the verification architecture, methodology, and execution for Data Center Networking IPs and systems.
- Architecting, designing, and developing testbench environments for complex networking protocols including PCIe, Ethernet, CXL, RoCE/NVMe-oF.
- Creating verification and test plans and managing overall regression health.
- Utilizing scripting languages like Python or Perl to enhance productivity.
- Mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in verification.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Extensive experience in verification for IP/SoC/ASIC technologies, particularly in high-speed protocols.
- Knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI, APB) is advantageous.
- Experience with AI-assisted verification tools is a plus.
