Lead Staff Engineer, Design Verification

Role Summary

The Lead Staff Engineer, Design Verification will work with innovative design and verification teams at Micron Technology to develop advanced DRAM and emerging memory products. The role includes designing and verifying high-density memory chips and involves collaborating with global design teams.

Experience Level

Senior; over five years of experience in mixed signal verification is required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead engineers to deliver top-quality products while supporting their professional growth.
• Fully understand the design datasheet and the details of circuit design.
• Develop patterns and regressions to enhance function coverage of DRAM architectures.
• Provide design engineers with support, debug failures, and lead bug tracking.
• Collaborate with international colleagues on developing new verification tools.
• Own and lead design projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop and maintain test benches and test vectors using simulation tools.
• Create verification plans in coordination with architects.
• Work with cross-functional groups to define and develop DFT patterns.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Understanding of CMOS circuit design.
• Proficient with analog/digital simulation tools (HSPICE, Spectre, etc.).
• Knowledge of verification languages (System Verilog) and methodologies (UVM).
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills, with effective communication abilities.
• Experience with System Verilog Assertion (SVA) and leadership skills.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent (preferred).
