Role Summary
Join the Cadence Digital and Signoff Group Machine Learning team to develop and apply deep learning and agentic frameworks to electronic design automation (EDA) tools. The role focuses on designing agentic workflows, optimization algorithms, and production-grade software to address problems in EDA and system design.

Responsibilities
The core responsibilities include:
- Design agentic workflows and integrate LLM/agentic components into EDA toolchains.
- Research and develop ML/DL algorithms, including gradient-based and gradient-free optimization methods, for EDA and system-design problems.
- Design, implement, test, and maintain production-quality software and APIs.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Evaluate and apply ML frameworks (for example, PyTorch) and scale models for engineering workflows.
Requirements
Required skills and experience:
- Experience with agentic frameworks and LLM/Agentic AI concepts.
- Strong background in ML/DL algorithms and applied deep learning.
- Proficient software engineering skills in C/C++ and Python on Linux.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and integrating models into software.
- Experience designing optimization algorithms (gradient-based and gradient-free).
- Effective communication and ability to work with distributed, cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in EDA or system-design domains.
- Prior work on large-scale model deployment or agentic systems.
