Lead SoC Architect
Role Summary
Design and specify system and microarchitectural components for large, high-end ASIC SoCs used in datacenter analytics. Work with multidisciplinary hardware, firmware and software teams to define subsystems and ensure the SoC integrates into datacenter systems for Speedata's Analytics Processing Unit (APU).
Experience Level
Senior β 6+ years of experience as a system architect for large, high-end ASIC SoCs.
Responsibilities
Define hardware and microarchitectural specifications and coordinate with firmware and software teams to decompose subsystems into implementable blocks.
- Define detailed hardware specifications for SoC subsystems.
- Break down subsystem architecture into microarchitectural blocks and related firmware and software components.
- Analyze the datacenter systems in which the SoC will be integrated and design the SoC to fit those environments.
Requirements
Core qualifications and experience required for the role.
- 6+ years as a system architect for large, high-end ASIC SoCs.
- Experience with multidisciplinary hardware/software systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Deep understanding of datacenter systems.
- Experience with architecture of processors, accelerators, and high-speed PCIe.
Education Requirements
BSc or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Graduated with honors.
