The Lead RTL Verification Engineer will lead verification efforts for digital ASIC/SoC projects within the ASIC Digital Design organization in Bengaluru. The role focuses on defining verification strategy, implementing and validating RTL testbenches, driving coverage closure, and coordinating with design and validation teams.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Define verification strategy and create verification plans for RTL blocks and subsystems.
• Architect and implement scalable testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Create and run directed, constrained-random tests; collect and close functional coverage.
• Lead debug and root-cause analysis of functional issues and coordinate fixes with RTL designers.
• Mentor and review the work of verification engineers; provide technical leadership and guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, firmware, validation) to integrate verification flows and regressions.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications:

• Must-have: Demonstrated experience in RTL verification and testbench development; strong SystemVerilog and UVM skills; hands-on with industry simulators and verification flows; strong debugging and coverage-driven verification experience; leadership or lead-role experience on verification projects.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with formal verification, low-power verification methodologies, scripting (Python/Tcl/Perl), verification automation/CI, and SoC-level verification experience.
