Role Summary
The Lead Project Manager will manage development of RF semiconductor products, core technology and IP from concept through production within the RF Semiconductors (RFS) organization. The role coordinates cross-functional work across engineering, product, applications, marketing and manufacturing teams and collaborates with global locations to deliver product and business objectives.
This position sits on a matrixed engineering organization and requires program planning, execution oversight, risk management and process improvement to meet schedule, quality and budget targets.
Experience Level
Senior β typically requires 5+ years managing complex technical projects in high-tech or semiconductor environments.
Responsibilities
Accountable for planning and delivering complex RF/IC development projects and for aligning cross-functional teams to meet milestones and quality goals.
- Lead large-scale initiatives spanning multiple teams and regions; make decisions with long-term implications for functions or the business unit.
- Define and align project goals with stakeholders including Engineering Directors, Product, Applications, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resource allocation and staffing to deliver milestones.
- Identify, track and mitigate risks and obstacles to ensure project continuity and quality.
- Design and implement process improvements and new solutions to increase efficiency and predictability.
- Coordinate priorities across concurrent development and sustaining projects with other program managers.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across global teams, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
- Serve as the primary internal stakeholder contact and ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and applicable regulations.
- Mentor and upskill junior team members and report on project status to leadership.
