Job Title

Lead Product Validation Engineer - SI/PI

Role Summary

Validate and ensure the quality of Sigrity SI/PI/EM analysis products by creating and executing test plans, maintaining regression suites, and driving automation within a global product validation team.

Collaborate with product engineering and support teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues and to verify new SI/PI/EM features.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Expectation: 4+ years of SI/PI/EM related experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include manual and automated validation, regression maintenance, and cross-team problem resolution.

• Review SI/PI/EM technologies, project plans, and functional specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Define test criteria and write test plans; execute manual tests to verify functionality.
• Develop and maintain automated tests within the existing test environment.
• Maintain comprehensive regression suites to monitor product quality.
• Investigate and work with teams to resolve customer-reported issues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; a short list of useful additions.

• 4+ years of SI/PI/EM related engineering experience.
• Experience using Sigrity or other EM/SI/PI simulation tools.
• Familiarity with software test processes and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of power integrity, signal integrity, and EM technology.
• Basic IC design knowledge, including passive components (inductors, capacitors, transformers).
• Comfortable with Linux; scripting experience (TCL, Perl, Shell). Matlab is a plus.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to multitask; self-starter who works independently and in teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (mandatory).
• Nice-to-have: PCB design, routing, and packaging knowledge.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's (BS) or Master's (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related technical field.
