Lead Product Test Engineer
Role Summary
The Lead Product Test Engineer will support Qorvo’s High Performance Analog (HPA) team in product characterization, test development, and test automation with the goal of reducing time to market. The role leads definition and execution of DVT scope, drives test planning, analyzes test data, and supports troubleshooting from DC to mmWave frequencies.
This position is based in Richardson, TX and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Experience Level
Senior / Lead level. Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering or software testing related to product/test development.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include test planning, execution oversight, and collaboration across functions to introduce and validate new product test flows.
- Support product characterization throughout development phases.
- Define DVT scope, initiate and track execution to completion for product lines.
- Create and maintain test plans and test-oriented documentation and procedures.
- Analyze test data and generate product performance reports.
- Troubleshoot product performance and provide guidance to resolve test setup issues.
- Influence and contribute to test development strategy and SQA for new test flows.
- Validate software integration for RF characterization from DC to mmWave frequencies.
- Propose and implement improvements to the test automation framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor/coordinate with test technicians.

Must-have: Proficient with test automation and automated test design, development, and maintenance.

Must-have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with test technicians and cross-functional teams.

Must-have: Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-have: Experience with mmWave testing, SQA processes for test flow introduction, scripting for test automation, and familiarity with RF instruments and test systems.
Education Requirements
Master of Science (MSc) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering is required (Master's or PhD acceptable).
