Lead Product Engineer - SpectreFX
Role Summary
Work with Cadence simulation R&D to support key customers in Korea for the SpectreFX product. Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams to reproduce issues, run simulations, and deliver solutions.
Experience Level
Senior level. The role expects 10+ years of experience in circuit/memory transistor-level design.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on customer support, technical problem solving, and collaboration with R&D to improve simulation workflows and product quality.
- Support key customers in Korea by diagnosing and resolving simulation issues.
- Run and analyze SPICE / FastSPICE simulations to reproduce and isolate problems.
- Collaborate with simulation R&D to identify fixes and roadmap items.
- Provide clear technical communication to customers and internal teams.
- Document findings and recommended solutions; escalate complex issues as needed.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; additional desirable skills listed separately.
- 10+ years of experience in circuit and memory transistor-level design.
- Strong hands-on experience with SPICE and FastSPICE simulation tools.
- Proven customer-facing experience with excellent interaction and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to travel to customer sites when required.
- Nice-to-have: hands-on circuit design experience.
Education Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BS/MS in EE). The posting specifies 10+ years of related professional experience.
