Role Summary

Lead product engineering for Cadence SoC verification solutions in Shanghai. The role partners with R&D, business units, sales, and marketing to define product specifications, drive development and validation, and run customer technical evaluations, trainings, and demos.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, customer engagement, and product delivery for SoC verification solutions.

  • Identify and scope opportunities for SoC verification solutions, including simulation and SVG software.
  • Plan, execute, and manage technical evaluations and benchmarks with customers.
  • Deliver trainings, presentations, and live demos as needed.
  • Gather and translate customer design and verification requirements into product specifications.
  • Work with R&D to implement specifications and with validation teams to ensure software quality.
  • Lead deployments of new technologies (e.g., Xcelium) and VIP engagements (e.g., USB VIP) in China.
  • Provide customer support for key service accounts as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must-have: Design or verification experience at IP or SoC chip level.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with SystemVerilog, VHDL, and HDL simulators.
  • Must-have: Verification methodology experience (UVM required).

  • Desired: Knowledge of Unix/Linux.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with EDA tools such as simulators, emulators, or hardware prototypes; prior exposure to Xcelium or USB VIP engagements.
