Lead Product Engineer
Role Summary
Work on the Modus Test Product Engineering team focusing on Design For Test (DFT) and Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG).
Drive product feature specification, prototyping, implementation validation, and customer deployment in collaboration with R&D, product validation, field teams, and customers.
Experience Level
Senior - requires substantial hands-on DFT product engineering experience (see Education Requirements for years-of-experience guidance).
Responsibilities
Deliver and validate DFT/ATPG product features and support deployment to customers and field teams.
- Define product specifications and develop prototypes for DFT and ATPG features.
- Collaborate with R&D and product validation teams to implement and verify features.
- Develop flows, documentation, and presentations to support field teams and customers.
- Provide hands-on debugging and technical support during customer deployment.
- Monitor DFT technology trends and incorporate relevant innovations into the product.
Requirements
Technical must-haves and desirable skills (degree and years-of-experience summarized separately under Education Requirements).
- Direct experience with DFT methodologies including ATPG, scan, JTAG, IEEE 1687 (iJTAG), MBIST and LBIST.
- Proven ability to work across teams and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Adaptability to a dynamic, cross-functional engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience with industry DFT EDA tools is a plus.
- Experience in STA, physical design, or silicon bring-up related to DFT is a plus.
Education Requirements
BS (or equivalent practical experience) with 6+ years of direct DFT experience, or MS with 4+ years of direct DFT experience. Equivalent professional experience is accepted. No specific field-of-study was specified in the source.
