Lead Product Engineer

Role Summary

Technical authority for Celsius EC who bridges customers, partners, and engineering to drive product adoption, technical positioning, and solutions for electronics thermal simulation. Customer-facing role focused on simulation methodology, product demonstrations, training, and high‑quality application deliverables.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead technical engagements with strategic customers and partners; provide guidance on simulation methodology and best practices.
  • Design and deliver demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and application examples to showcase product capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain tutorials, application notes, and instructional content; deliver technical training to customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Create reference models, benchmark cases, and validation studies that demonstrate product accuracy and capability.
  • Collaborate with engineering to evaluate new features, provide application feedback, and contribute technical requirements based on customer insight.
  • Author technical articles, application briefs, and produce visual assets for technical communications and events; represent the product at conferences and webinars.
  • Provide escalated technical support for complex customer issues and reseller inquiries.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, prioritize independently, and travel approximately 10–15 days per year for customer visits and events.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Proven industry experience in thermal simulation of electronics systems (component, board, or system-level).
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience using the Celsius EC solver in a professional or research environment.
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer and fluid dynamics fundamentals applied to electronics cooling.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting and demonstrating to groups and handling customer escalations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and work with limited direction.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA).
  • Familiarity with electronics circuit design and PCB layout.
  • Broader CAE background (CFD, FEA, structural, or circuit simulation tools).
