Senior β lead-level role. The posting requests approximately 12+ years of industry experience with at least three years working with memory systems in the lab.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include ownership of post-silicon memory validation and coordination across teams and vendors.
- Manage and lead post-silicon bringup, characterization, and productization of the GPU memory system.
- Develop, qualify, and ensure compliance of memory system software and firmware.
- Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders and DRAM vendors on silicon memory issues.
- Work across the GPU development cycle: concept, Plan of Record, architecture, micro-architecture, design, validation, physical design and tape-out.
- Define pre-silicon features with design and verification teams to enable smooth bringup and productization.
- Bring devices from initial power-on through production ramp; analyze and prioritize top issues in complex datasets.
- Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and communicate technical findings clearly in writing and verbally.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience and skills; nice-to-have items are listed separately.
-
Must-have: ~12+ years industry experience with at least three years working hands-on with memory systems in a lab environment.
- Direct experience taking an SoC/GPU from concept level to production.
- Practical experience with DRAM and high-speed DRAM interfaces such as HBM, GDDR, and LPDDR, including timing, analog, and digital considerations.
- Experience across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases for feature definition, bringup, and productization.
- Strong problem analysis and prioritization skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data to identify top issues.
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
-
Nice-to-have: experience working directly with DRAM vendors to debug post-silicon issues; proven record implementing processes and methodologies; SystemC or C++ development skills or equivalent programming experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is stated as preferred; the posting also allows equivalent practical experience.
