Responsibilities
Primary duties include technical leadership across validation activities and ensuring features are validated and optimized on schedule.
- Develop and improve validation tools, scripts, and automated flows.
- Drive debug and root-cause analysis during bring-up, validation, and production phases.
- Plan and track test execution across multiple teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with hardware, firmware, software, and platform teams.
- Engage with software/hardware modeling frameworks and validation methodologies.
- Promote systemic quality improvements through targeted debug, automation, and process enhancements.
Requirements
Key technical skills and attributes required or strongly preferred.
Must-have
- Proven experience in board/platform-level debugging, delivery sequencing, analysis, and optimization.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting (examples: C/C++, Python, Perl, Ruby) for test development and automation.
- Strong system-architecture knowledge and technical debug methodologies.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail; self-starter able to drive tasks independently.
- Experience leading collaborative technical efforts across multiple teams.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in RAS and reset-flow validation, high-coverage tests, failure-signature analysis, and recovery logic hardening.
- Familiarity with additional software/hardware modeling frameworks and advanced validation strategies.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
