Lead MTS Verification Engineering
Role Summary
Senior verification engineer on the SoftIP Products development team responsible for pre-silicon RTL verification of PCIe-related controller technologies. The role focuses on developing testbenches, coverage, regressions and verification automation to enable product delivery.
Onsite role based in Bengaluru reporting to local technical management; hybrid work pattern (approximately three days onsite, two days remote) is expected.
Experience Level
Senior-level. The posting indicates approximately 3–5 years of relevant RTL design verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include verification planning, test development, and debugging of controller RTL and verification environments.
- Design and implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification sequences for controller features.
- Plan and implement functional coverage items and augment test suites to meet coverage goals.
- Create, run and maintain regression tests; monitor regressions and debug failures.
- Debug and triage RTL and testbench issues; collaborate with design engineers to resolve design-level problems.
- Develop and maintain verification environment scripting and automation (CI, tooling).
- Support verification infrastructure and toolchains used for pre-silicon validation.

Key technical requirements and preferences.
- Must-have: 3–5 years of hands-on RTL design verification experience, including testbench and regression development.
- Must-have: Strong experience with SystemVerilog and UVM testbench development; Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL familiarity.
- Must-have: Experience with functional coverage planning and implementation, and verification debug workflows.
- Nice-to-have: Experience or familiarity with the PCI-Express protocol.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Python and TCL for verification scripting and automation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS).
