Lead MTS Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Lead verification engineer on the Memory Controller IP team responsible for pre-silicon RTL verification of DDR, HBM, GDDR and LPDDR controller technologies. The role focuses on developing testbenches, verification infrastructure, and regression environments to validate controller RTL prior to silicon.

Full-time position based in Bangalore reporting to the India Memory Controller Verification manager. Team follows a hybrid work model with an expectation of approximately three onsite days per week.

Experience Level

Senior / Lead — minimum 5 years of HDL logic design and verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop testbenches and test sequences for new controller features and technologies.
• Plan and implement functional coverage; code coverage items and augment test suites.
• Create and maintain regression tests; monitor regressions, debug failures, and triage issues in the verification environment and RTL.
• Develop and support verification environment scripting and automation capabilities.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred skills:

• Must-have: Fluency in SystemVerilog testbench methodology and RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog) design and verification.
• Must-have: Hands-on experience with pre-silicon RTL verification flows, coverage-driven verification, and regression frameworks.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with DDR DRAM technologies (DDR, HBM, GDDR, LPDDR).
• Nice-to-have: Experience scripting in Python and TCL for verification automation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (stated: "Bachelors Degree or above in EE/CS").
