Lead Manufacturing Product Engineer
Role Summary
The Lead Manufacturing Product Engineer will drive manufacturing process design, automation, and data-driven solutions for Allegro's sensor and power IC production. This role sits at the intersection of semiconductor production engineering and digital transformation, leading technical integration across manufacturing, design, and project teams.
Primary goals are to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and predictability through automation, ML-driven analytics, and robust process governance.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement end-to-end automation and data-driven manufacturing solutions; develop and deploy predictive machine learning models.
- Develop and maintain operational sequences and processes for fabrication and assembly.
- Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling for new product introductions (NPI).
- Act as a technical lead for cross-functional digital transformation projects; coordinate with Project Managers and Design Engineering to meet milestones and ensure product release readiness.
- Integrate automation tools, cloud platforms, and AI pipelines into the manufacturing architecture and enforce change governance.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and manage submissions to the Change Management Board.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT), provide troubleshooting and sustainment for deployed solutions, and produce training materials and updated technical documentation.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) repair and product/equipment characterization using basic statistical methods and SPC.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques for machine assessment such as MSA and FMEA.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience implementing automation, AI/ML models, and cloud-based manufacturing analytics.
- Experience leading digital transformation or cross-functional manufacturing projects and working with change-management processes.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements for industrial systems, UAT practices, and creating technical training/documentation.
Education Requirements
Higher diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent semiconductor industry experience.
