The Lead Hardware Engineer will be part of the R&D team at Cadence Design Systems, working on the MODUS DFT software solution. This role involves advancing design-for-testability (DFT) technologies to improve usability and quality across the product line.

Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Designing and verifying Verilog/SystemVerilog/UVM RTL and test benches for DFT IP features.
- Providing support to application and product engineers through problem analysis and debugging.
- Enhancing product features to optimize synthesis results regarding timing, area, and power.
- Participating in research to solve complex EDA challenges.
- Mentoring junior team members to foster their development in engineering skills.
Requirements
Essential qualifications include:
- Proficiency in RTL design with Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- In-depth knowledge of front-end EDA tools, including simulators and checkers.
- Experience with SystemVerilog assertions and advanced verification techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior knowledge of EDA tool development concepts is beneficial.
Education Requirements
M.Tech, M.E, B.Tech, or B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
