Lead Engineer - IC Design

Role Summary

This role involves the design verification of next-generation IPs/SoCs, focusing on verifying and signing off performance and power along with functionality. The Lead Engineer will collaborate across teams, including Design, SoC, Validation, Synthesis, and PD, to ensure design convergence.

Experience Level

Senior level: 10-15 years in the industry.

Responsibilities

The Lead Engineer will handle the following responsibilities:

• Work in AMS Verification with experience in mixed signal SoCs or subsystems/IPs.
• Lead projects related to AMS requirements.
• Utilize proficiency in AMS simulation environments using Cadence/Synopsys/Mentor tools.
• Understand digital design techniques, Verilog HDL, and analog circuit basics.
• Familiarity with behavioral modeling concepts (Verilog-D, Verilog-A, or Verilog-AMS).
• Develop and execute top-level test cases and regressions suites.
• Lead project teams collaboratively in multi-site environments.
• Support silicon evaluation and compare simulation results with measurements.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Proficient in Verilog, System Verilog, or Verilog AMS.
• Strong understanding of analog circuits and digital design processes.
• Excellent simulation debugging skills, capable of analyzing waveforms and identifying schematic issues.
• Proficient in a Unix environment and shell scripting.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
