Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead complex IC layout projects from concept through tape-out and delivery.
- Develop solutions to difficult layout and architecture problems requiring deep technical analysis.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and less experienced engineers.
- Make critical IC architecture and layout decisions that influence product direction.
- Perform advanced process evaluations, optimizations, and implement design-for-manufacturing practices.
- Drive cross-organizational technical alignment and influence engineering strategies.
- Create and promote layout methodologies and best practices to improve team productivity and quality.
