Lead Application Engineer – Digital Verification
Role Summary
Lead technical engagements for Cadence digital verification solutions, supporting customer projects and pre-sales activities. Act as a technical consultant to plan, execute, and manage verification evaluations, training, and adoption with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include customer-facing technical leadership, solution adoption, and knowledge transfer.
- Serve as a technical consultant and lead support for digital verification projects and pre-sales engagements.
- Collaborate with sales to identify, qualify, and scope opportunities for verification solutions.
- Plan, execute, and manage technical evaluations and proofs-of-concept with customers and internal teams.
- Drive customer adoption and deployment of verification tools; provide technical mentorship during ramp-up and execution.
- Deliver trainings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Document and report project status, outcomes, and share best practices within the team.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex customer issues.
Requirements
Key technical and professional requirements. Items marked as "Nice-to-have" are preferred but not mandatory.
- 5–10 years hands-on experience in hardware design and/or verification methodologies.
- Practical verification experience with UVM, SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, SystemC, and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
- Good understanding of code coverage and functional coverage concepts, tools, and workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; experience in a global, customer-facing role.
- Valid passport with no travel restrictions and willingness to travel as required.
- Nice-to-have: hands-on experience with Cadence Verification IP or Jasper.
Education Requirements
