Role Summary

The Lead Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for overseeing an Analog IC design team focused on developing innovative connectivity products used in Automotive, Industrial, and Medical applications. This role involves engaging in the complete design cycle, including architecture, design, schematic, layout, verification, and SoC integration.

Experience Level

Senior level, requiring a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities include:

  • Leading an Analog IC design team with product ownership from definition to manufacturing.
  • Guiding and participating in the design and evaluation of electronic parts and integrated circuits.
  • Assigning tasks, developing schedules, and monitoring project progress.
  • Evaluating project results during design and silicon evaluation phases.
  • Collaborating with physical designers on IC layout progress.
  • Working with Design Verification teams to ensure technical task completion.
  • Preparing product briefs and assisting in product definition with engineers and marketing.
  • Facilitating successful transfer to production with validation and engineering teams.
  • Leading discussions with customers and TI sales teams for support.
  • Participating in hiring and developing personnel within the team.

Requirements

Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 6 years of relevant experience in analog/mixed-signal development.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Ability to tackle challenging problems and drive innovative solutions.
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective time management for on-time project delivery.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
