Role Summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Layout Designer to join their team, responsible for the development and preparation of multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of semiconductor devices.

Mid-level; a minimum of 5 years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

The Layout Designer will:

  • Develop and prepare layouts and drawings from schematics and geometry provided by design engineering.
  • Utilize CAD equipment for layout preparation.
  • Check dimensions, write specifications, and verify completed drawings and plots.
  • Review design layouts and detailed drawings.

Requirements

Minimum requirements include:

  • Associate's degree in Engineering or related field, or program certificate in Advanced IC Mask Layout Design.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Ability to establish relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
  • Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery.

Education Requirements

Minimum education: Associate's degree in Engineering or related field of study, or program certificate in Advanced IC Mask Layout Design. Bachelor's degree preferred.
