Role Summary

The Layout Design Senior Engineer is responsible for developing high-quality layouts for DDR and HBM PHY IPs. Working within a dynamic team, the role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and advancing semiconductor technologies.

Mid-level, requiring 2+ years of hands-on experience in IC layout development.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing layouts for DDR and HBM PHY IPs using advanced CMOS, FinFET, and GAA technologies.
• Designing floorplans, routing, and ensuring compliance through physical verifications.
• Performing DRC, LVS, ERC, and Antenna checks with timely verification cycles.
• Addressing ESD, latch-up, EMIR, and DFM issues.
• Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams for optimization of layouts.
• Troubleshooting layout challenges and improving design methodologies.
• Documenting design flows and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Must have skills include:

• BTech/MTech degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in IC layout for advanced process nodes (7nm and below).
• Expertise in DRC, LVS, ERC, and physical verification methodologies.
• Strong understanding of submicron effects and layout matching in various technologies.
• Proficiency with layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Education Requirements

A BTech/MTech degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering discipline is required.
