Lab Engineering Technician
Support engineering teams in an R&D packaging laboratory by preparing samples, executing experimental measurements, maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, and assisting with development of tools, fixtures, and test methods. Work is hands-on and requires close collaboration with engineers and other technicians.
Priorities can change frequently; the role requires attention to detail, flexibility, good judgment, and clear documentation of experimental results.
Entry-level / Early Career — requires a minimum of 1+ year of laboratory experience. Candidates may qualify through a variety of education and hands-on experience combinations (see Education Requirements).
Main responsibilities include supporting experiments, sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and documentation.

Nice-to-have:
One of the following education/experience combinations is required: Associate degree in a technical field plus 2+ years equipment maintenance experience; Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; High School Diploma/GED plus 4+ years hands-on manufacturing experience; High School Diploma/GED plus 4+ years military technical experience; High School Diploma/GED plus 2.5+ years equipment maintenance experience; or High School Diploma/GED plus a 3+ year technical/trade certification. Additionally, candidates must have at least 1+ year of laboratory experience. Equivalent practical experience is accepted per the combinations listed.
