Junior Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Design Verification team to verify high-speed SerDes mixed-signal IP, DSP datapaths, and firmware-hardware co-verification. The team develops verification environments and automation that support silicon from specification through tape-out for interfaces such as PCIe and Ethernet.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 0–3 years of industry or academic experience; recent graduates encouraged.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop constrained-random and coverage-driven verification environments for complex high-speed SerDes mixed-signal IP.
• Validate DSP datapaths and verify firmware-hardware interactions.
• Design and maintain verification automation and advanced verification environments.
• Use scripting (Python) to automate verification tasks and flow.
• Integrate and leverage AI-assisted engineering tools in the verification workflow.
• Perform root-cause analysis and debug functional and performance issues.

Requirements

Core skills and attributes:

• Solid grasp of digital design, computer architecture, and software programming.
• Analytical mindset with strong debugging and root-cause skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Familiarity with verification methodologies; hands-on SystemVerilog/UVM or Python is a strong advantage but not strictly required.
• Interest in mixed-signal concepts and high-speed protocols (PCIe, Ethernet).

Nice-to-have:

• Prior internship or experience in RTL design or verification.
• Experience with mixed-signal or analog simulation concepts.
• Knowledge of high-speed protocols such as PCIe or Ethernet.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Suitable for recent graduates or candidates with 0–3 years of industry or academic experience; strong academic record and prior internships are encouraged.
