Junior System Engineer
Role Summary
The Junior System Engineer will support system-level requirements, validation, and cross-disciplinary coordination for semiconductor products. The role works with hardware, software, validation, and project teams to help deliver project objectives and maintain engineering documentation and traceability.
Reports to systems engineering leads and assists with design reviews, testing, technical coordination, and root-cause analysis.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Junior. Suitable for recent graduates or candidates with limited practical experience (0–3 years).
Responsibilities
Support systems engineering activities and collaborate across disciplines. Key responsibilities include:
- Define, analyze, document, and validate system-level requirements and product behavior.
- Assist with technical coordination, design reviews, testing, and follow-up of action items.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, validation, and project stakeholders to ensure project execution and delivery.
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications, reports, project documentation, and engineering records for visibility and traceability.
- Support root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving to improve product quality and system performance.
- Communicate technical information effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Practical experience from academic projects, laboratory work, internships, or student competitions.
- Basic familiarity with engineering, design, verification, programming, simulation, or laboratory tools and a strong willingness to learn.
- Solid foundation in engineering principles, analytical thinking, testing methodologies, and technical documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural teams and strong English communication (written and verbal).
- Proactive mindset, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning in a fast-paced technology environment.
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to embedded systems, semiconductor technologies, hardware–software integration, or system validation.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, C, or C++.
- Familiarity with requirements management, testing, or systems engineering concepts.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field. Recent graduates and students nearing graduation are encouraged. Practical or equivalent experience gained through academic projects, internships, or laboratory work is considered a valid alternative.
