Junior NFC/UWB System Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level system validation role responsible for verifying NXP NFC and UWB products and features from a customer system perspective. The position sits within a product validation team and focuses on system-level test, automation, and first-level debugging.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Junior — recent university graduate.

Responsibilities

Execute and maintain system-level tests to validate NFC and UWB functionality according to test plans.

• Create and verify system test cases based on given test plans.
• Analyze, optimize and maintain existing test cases.
• Run system tests manually and via automation.
• Document test cases, test results and problem reports.
• Provide first-level issue debugging and triage.
• Maintain and extend the NFC/UWB system test environment.
• Automate test execution and result reporting.

Requirements

Core technical skills and working habits expected for the role.

• Must-have: Good knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Must-have: Knowledge of C programming.
• Must-have: Strong analytical skills; accurate and well-structured work style; reliable and able to work autonomously.
• Must-have: Proficient in spoken and written English; able to work in a diverse international team.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with test automation and test management tools.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.).
• Note: The role may include security-related tasks and work that falls under security certification scope; a conscientious and reliable approach to work is required.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Information and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telematics, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a similar technical field (recent graduates encouraged). The posting specifies a Master's degree as the expected qualification.
