Job Title

Junior Logic Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Junior Logic Design Engineer will support development and optimization of mixed-signal and high-speed IP blocks for integration into SoC/full-chip designs. The role focuses on RTL development, simulation, verification support, and collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

This is an early-career, hands-on engineering position based in Haifa, working under guidance to deliver high‑quality IP for system integration.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, and academic projects count).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include RTL design support, verification collaboration, and assisting with design optimization and integration.

  • Assist in logic design, RTL coding (Verilog/SystemVerilog), and simulations for IP blocks, functional units, and subsystems.
  • Contribute to architecture and microarchitecture discussions and implementation under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Learn and apply mixed-signal concepts and basic analog behavior modeling to support RTL development and optimization.
  • Support efforts to meet power, performance, area, and timing requirements to ensure designs are suitable for physical implementation.
  • Participate in RTL verification activities, review test results, and help debug and resolve failing tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and support SoC customers to ensure successful IP integration and design delivery.

Requirements

Must-have skills and application requirements, plus desirable additional experience.

  • Must-have: Good understanding of digital design fundamentals, RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog), and simulation concepts.
  • Must-have: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Must-have: Applicants must include their academic grades sheet (transcript) as part of the application.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with communication interfaces or high-speed design concepts.
  • Nice-to-have: Exposure to mixed-signal concepts, SerDes, PHYs, or signal processing through coursework or projects.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. (or upcoming graduate) in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Internships, co-ops, or academic project experience are considered relevant background. Applicants are required to include their academic transcript.
