IP Verification Lead Engineer, Senior
Role Summary
Lead IP-level verification for digital and security-related IP within the hardware engineering organization in Bangalore. Develop and maintain verification environments, drive debug and coverage closure, and coordinate with RTL designers and integration teams to deliver verified IP.

Responsibilities
Hands-on verification leadership and delivery:
- Design and implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification environments from scratch.
- Create directed and constrained-random tests and manage functional/code coverage closure.
- Debug RTL using Synopsys VCS and perform root-cause analysis with design teams.
- Verify digital IP and basic bus protocols (AHB, AXI, APB) and support SoC integration.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and validation teams to resolve issues.
- Mentor and guide junior verification engineers and promote verification best practices.
Requirements
Core technical skills and experience required or preferred.
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM (must-have).
- Proven experience developing testbenches and full verification environments.
- Proficient in simulation and debug using VCS.
- Solid understanding of digital design and Verilog.
- Experience with functional and code coverage methodologies.
- Familiarity with basic bus protocols: AHB, AXI, APB.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with security-related IP (cryptography, PRNG, RSA).
- Familiarity with SiFive RISC processors.
- Formal verification tool experience (VCF or JasperGold).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
