IP Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The IP Verification Engineer will join AMD's design verification team, contributing to the development and quality of cutting-edge technologies. The role involves ensuring the highest quality performance of IPs through various verification strategies.

Experience Level

Mid-level experience required.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain tests for functional and performance verification at the core level.
• Build testbench components for next-generation IP.
• Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing.
• Create hardware emulation builds to verify IP functional performance.
• Optimize current hardware emulation environment for better runtime performance and debugging.
• Provide technical support to other teams.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Proficient in C/C++.
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and verification libraries like UVM.
• Experience/background in Computing/Graphics is beneficial.
• Exposure to OpenGL/OpenCL/D3D programming is a plus.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
