Primary responsibilities include technical leadership of verification efforts across IP, subsystem and chip levels.
- Act as technical lead for verification teams; set direction and priorities.
- Define verification strategy, plans, and coverage goals for IP, subsystem and SoC projects.
- Design and develop UVM-based verification environments and SystemVerilog testbenches.
- Drive simulation-based verification and closure of functional and coverage targets.
- Coordinate full-chip integration and cross-block verification activities.
- Debug complex RTL issues, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate results to design teams.
- Collaborate with RTL designers, architects, physical design and validation teams.
- Mentor and review work of verification engineers; promote best practices.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience to perform the role; additional skills are listed as advantages.
- Proven experience as a technical lead in a verification team.
- Extensive simulation-based verification experience for ASIC or FPGA blocks and subsystems.
- Strong expertise in UVM-based verification and SystemVerilog.
