Intern - Product Validation
Role Summary
Work on validation and test-suite development for Cadence hierarchical solution features within the Innovus Digital Implementation System. The role is on the product validation team focused on creating, maintaining, and executing hierarchical unit and flow tests.
Short-term internship role contributing to feature verification and test automation for digital IC implementation tools.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship. Prefer availability 3–4 days per week for at least 6 months.
Responsibilities
Primary duties focus on validation, test development, and maintenance for hierarchical solution flows.
- Validate and maintain hierarchical solution unit and flow test cases for the Innovus Digital Implementation System.
- Develop test suites for new hierarchical functional and flow features.
- Support integration of hierarchical solutions into the larger product test framework.
- Document test results and report defects to development teams.
Requirements
Key skills and attributes for successful performance in this role.
- Must-have: Knowledge of digital IC design.
- Must-have: Good communication in English and Chinese; self-motivated and confident.
- Nice-to-have: Statistical timing analysis knowledge.
- Nice-to-have: Unix familiarity and scripting experience (vi, Tcl/Tk, csh, Perl).
Education Requirements
MS in microelectronics, electrical engineering, or a related major.
