Role Summary
This internship is within the Process Integration Engineering (PIE) team at Micron's Fab 10N/X in Singapore. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to semiconductor memory process integration and device reliability for NAND, DRAM, and HBM products.
The role focuses on reliability evaluation, data-driven analysis, and the application of automation and AI/ML tools to support process monitoring and continuous improvement, working with cross-functional engineering teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship intended for students. No prior professional years of experience required; suitable for undergraduate or graduate students seeking a structured engineering internship.
Responsibilities
The intern will support project work and deliverables focused on process integration and reliability engineering.
- Support reliability studies and failure-mechanism characterization for memory devices (NAND, DRAM, HBM).
- Analyze manufacturing and reliability datasets using analytics and visualization tools to identify trends and insights.
- Apply or prototype automation and AI/ML approaches to engineering problems and process monitoring.
- Prepare technical documentation and analysis reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Evaluate potential process, yield, reliability, or automation improvements and present results to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Process Integration, Process Development, Manufacturing, Yield Enhancement, Product Engineering, and Failure Analysis teams.

- Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication and process integration concepts (preferred).
- Interest in manufacturing technology, reliability engineering, data analytics, or process optimization.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and data-driven analysis.
- Availability for the minimum internship duration (see Education Requirements for timing).
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with automation, AI/ML platforms, or data visualization tools; prior lab or fab exposure.
Education Requirements
Course of interest: Engineering and Science (all relevant disciplines). The posting targets students (internship level). Preferred internship period is May–Aug 2027 with a minimum duration of 4 months.
