Intern (f/m/d) - AI-Driven Data Analysis for Non-Volatile Memory Design
Role Summary
As an intern on the NVM Design and Technology team, you will prepare and analyze simulation and silicon measurement data to extract actionable insights that support non-volatile memory IP design decisions. You will collaborate with designers, validation and test engineers to translate practical questions into data-driven analyses and deliver clear visualizations and reports.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship role intended for students in the final stage of their studies. No prior professional experience required.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Collect and clean structured data from simulations and silicon measurements to ensure quality and usability.
- Apply basic data analytics and machine learning methods to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Work with design teams to translate engineering questions into data analyses and concise visualizations.
- Support development of dashboards, reports, and simple data pipelines or automation scripts.
- Assist in experiment analysis and provide inputs for design improvements.
- Follow required security and certification-related procedures when applicable.
Requirements
Must-have skills and desirable qualifications:
- Affinity with Verilog or VHDL and digital simulation tools.
- Experience with or willingness to learn data analytics and basic ML techniques.
- Ability to develop automation scripts; software development experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
- Team player, eager to learn, and reliable in execution (security-aware).
- Good level of English for international meetings and documentation.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (final stage of studies preferred). The internship must be a mandatory component of the candidate's study program; there is the possibility to continue the work as a Bachelor's or Master's thesis.
