Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include hands-on backend implementation and flow improvement.
- Perform chip physical design tasks: backend placement & routing (P&R), static timing analysis (STA), and physical verification.
- Implement high-speed digital IP physical design for DDR, HBM, UCIe, PCIe, eUSB.
- Develop scripts or small tools to improve physical design flows and automation.
- Investigate and resolve design issues; propose and document checks to prevent recurrence.
- Analyze and summarize PPA (power, performance, area) optimization methods and apply optimal parameters across projects.
- Collaborate with the team to meet design quality and delivery schedules.
Requirements
Must-have skills, availability, and attributes for successful candidacy.
- Familiarity with digital backend EDA tools and physical design flows.
- Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.
