Intern, Agentic AI for Signal Processing in Embedded Systems (f/m/d)
Role Summary
Support exploration and prototyping of agentic AI techniques for proprietary DSP and ASIC architectures used in embedded systems. Contribute to research on compiler technologies, ISA analysis, proof-of-concept AI agents, and evaluation of code generation and optimization workflows.
Work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience applying AI-driven approaches to semiconductor development. Hybrid work arrangement available.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship. Intended for current students or recent graduates (typically 0–3 years of experience).
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include research, prototyping, and evaluation of AI-assisted toolchains for embedded compute platforms.
- Investigate state-of-the-art agentic AI and compiler technologies.
- Develop prototypes for documentation-assisted code generation and optimization.
- Work with MLIR, LLVM, ONNX, and embedded toolchains to validate concepts.
- Automate analysis, validation, and performance-evaluation workflows.
- Document findings and present results to engineering teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes for the internship.
- Basic knowledge of Python and C++.
- Interest in AI, compilers, embedded systems, or machine learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to perform security-related tasks and follow security certification processes when required.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with LLVM/MLIR, ONNX, MATLAB, or embedded DSP development.
- Familiarity with machine-learning model deployment and performance optimization.
Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (studies in these fields are expected).
