Intern - ADTS PIE RDA
Role Summary
Internship within the Realtime Defect Analysis (RDA) Engineering team at Fab 10N/X in Singapore. The role focuses on designing and developing AI-enabled digital solutions to improve visibility, governance, and execution of AI initiatives and to enable broader AI adoption across engineering workflows.
The intern will build project-management dashboards, workflow automation, and AI-powered productivity tools that convert engineering data into actionable insights, and will gain exposure to semiconductor manufacturing and defect-analysis practices.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship intended for current students or recent graduates. Suitable for candidates with limited professional experience (typical 0–2 years).
Responsibilities
Work on a defined project to deliver AI-enabled project management and automation tools for the RDA organization.
- Design and implement visualization dashboards and project-management solutions to track AI initiatives, milestones, adoption metrics, and outcomes.
- Develop AI-enabled applications, workflow automation, or AI Assistant capabilities to improve engineering productivity.
- Integrate and consolidate data from multiple engineering systems for monitoring and decision support.
- Analyze engineering processes to identify opportunities for generative AI, agentic AI, or automation to reduce manual work.
- Produce technical documentation, test evidence, deployment guidelines, and reusable software components.
- Deliver a final technical presentation summarizing objectives, implementation, results, and future enhancements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and software teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Must-have skills and commitments for successful performance in the internship.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Practical programming and data-analysis experience with tools such as Python, R, or SQL; experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or equivalent is expected.
- Familiarity with software development practices, data visualization, and workflow automation concepts.
- Experience using AI-related tools (for example: Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Tabnine, large language models, or other AI-enabled development tools).
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into practical engineering solutions.
- Available to commit to a full-time, 5-month internship running Jan–May 2027.
Preferred:
- Experience with web application or full-stack development, dashboard development, or data engineering.
- Experience with machine learning, AI projects, or workflow automation projects.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing, defect analysis, or engineering analytics.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering/science discipline.
