Intermediate Application Engineer (AE)

Role Summary

The Intermediate Application Engineer role at Monolithic Power Systems involves defining and debugging digital power IC products, designing reference circuits, and providing technical training and support to customers. The selected candidate will work closely with power IC chips, including analog and mixed signal ICs.

Experience Level

Mid-level position with a focus on candidates possessing relevant experience in the power industry or power management IC companies.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Defining and developing MPS's digital power ICs.
• Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging programs on FPGA platforms.
• Performing functional verification of designs at block and chip levels.
• Designing and debugging the analog circuit to implement new functions.
• Supporting designers in implementing new product features.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in DSP or MCU; familiarity with FPGA is preferable.
• Capability in digital and analog circuit design, with knowledge of ADC and DAC operations.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English communication.
• Experience in the power industry or power management IC company is a plus.

Education Requirements

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
