Infra Network-on-Chip (NoC) Hardware Program Manager
Role Summary
Lead program execution for Network-on-Chip (NoC) hardware IP and subsystems within the Snapdragon product family. Owns program plans of record including schedule, resources, budget tracking, risks and stakeholder communications.
Work as part of the Infra NoC HW Program Management team to coordinate cross-functional engineering, validation, and delivery activities to meet schedule, performance, power, and cost targets.
Experience Level
Senior — overall 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience; minimum 3+ years in a technical project/program management role.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include planning, tracking, and driving complex NoC programs through the full ASIC development lifecycle and reporting status to stakeholders.
- Define and execute program plans of record: schedules, resource plans, milestones, metrics, and budgets.
- Organize and lead cross-functional teams to develop and maintain project schedules, Gantt charts, and resource forecasts.
- Identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, and maintain risk trackers; escalate and propose corrective actions when needed.
- Troubleshoot program issues and implement alternative plans to resolve schedule, resource, or scope conflicts.
- Report program status and key metrics regularly to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with change control, development reviews, and product development processes.
- Drive process and metric improvements; promote best project management practices.
- Support adoption of Waterfall and Agile methodologies as appropriate for program needs.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience, program management skills, and communication abilities required to manage complex ASIC/NoC programs.
- Overall 8+ years semiconductor industry experience; 3+ years in technical program/project management focused on hardware/IP programs.
- Experience with complete ASIC lifecycle: pre-silicon, silicon validation, and IP development processes.
- Proven ability to create and manage program schedules, resource plans, and dashboards (Gantt charts, advanced Excel, presentations).
- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior leadership.
- Experience using program management and resource tools; familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
- Comfort working independently, multitasking, and adapting to changing priorities across global teams and time zones.
- Detail- and action-oriented, self-starter with leadership presence and ability to drive cross-team collaboration.
Education Requirements
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience. Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. The posting also accepts equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree.
