Role Summary

ssMOS Industrial Engineer responsible for production capacity modeling and product yield engineering for Small Signal MOSFET products, with emphasis on semiconductor back-end (assembly, test, packaging).

Works within the Industrial Engineering team and interfaces with Back-End T&O, Marketing, Product Management and Logistics to plan capacity, capex and yield-improvement actions aligned to the ssMOS long-term plan and industrial roadmap.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Preferred experience: 3–5 years in technical roles, ideally with MOSFETs or semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain production capacity models and reports focused on back-end (assembly, test, packaging).
• Coordinate with Back-End T&O for ssMOS products to align tool and process capacity.
• Collaborate with ssMOS Marketing, Commercial Marketing and Product Management on strategic capacity planning and capex decisions per the LTP and industrial roadmap.
• Work with Logistics to identify package-level tool and material bottlenecks and define mitigation plans with T&O to avoid supply shortages.
• Support yield engineering activities including material disposition across front-, mid- and back-end.
• Identify capacity and yield improvements at product and package level and drive implementation.
• Participate in cross-functional task forces representing ssMOS industrial interests.
• Operate in a multisite, multicultural environment; travel is not required.

Requirements

Required and preferred skills for the role.

• Must-have: 3–5 years in technical semiconductor roles (preferably MOSFETs); experience with capacity modeling for semiconductor back-end including assembly tools and materials.
• Must-have: Knowledge of wafer and final-test yield data analysis and semiconductor mid- and back-end technologies.
• Must-have: Expert-level data management and analysis using MS Excel and ERP/planning tools such as SAP, o9 or similar.
• Must-have: Strong analytical skills and clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Nice-to-have: German language skills; prior experience working with international/multisite teams; creative problem-solving and readiness to learn new tools and methods.
