Senior-level. The role requires extensive verification experience (see Education Requirements for years-of-experience guidance).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include ownership of verification strategy, environment, and closure.
- Architect and develop scalable, reusable testbench environments using verification methodologies.
- Drive test plans for features across Block/Core/SoC and implement functional coverage goals.
- Develop pseudo-random tests to achieve full functional coverage and push verification to closure.
- Debug regression failures and analyze coverage gaps; improve tests to close gaps.
- Document verification strategy, test plans, and environment; lead design and architecture reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior team members; contribute to verification quality and efficiency improvements.
- Design stress tests to exercise the DUT and validate complex behaviors.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
