IC Test Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for defining and developing tests for NVIDIA/Mellanox network IC products (Switch, NIC, SmartNIC) from wafer-level through final test, and for transferring products from design to mass production.

Work with design, DFT, and manufacturing teams to improve test coverage, yield, capacity, and reduce production costs for high-speed interfaces.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career — requires approximately 2+ years of relevant IC test or related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include IC test definition, factory test optimization, and production transition.

• Define and develop IC tests, including test hardware debug.
• Design and improve factory test plans to increase coverage, reduce test time and cost, and improve yield.
• Ensure scalable testing and manufacturing solutions for high-speed interfaces.
• Coordinate with and direct local and overseas manufacturing teams to transition new products to factories.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in IC test or similar engineering roles.
• Good communication skills with diverse teams and cross-functional groups.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn independently.
• High standards for execution and product quality.

Nice-to-have:

• Background in IC test development.
• Experience with UltraFlex or other IC testers.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering.
